[None of this sounds good from where Tammy's been sitting. She'd been outside but monitoring the journals when the announcement has been made. She hadn't sprinted so hard for the barracks and her room in her life. But like hell was she being caught outside when stuff like this was going down.]

Please be careful you guys. Zeke, Rapunzel, Riah, Bobby, Abeni, Megamid...Sandrath. Please, please stay...just stay safe okay?

I'm just going to be in my room. I don't...this all seems like a bad idea.

I wouldn't say no to the company and frankly, seeing for my own eyes that you're okay would be pretty reassuring.

[Say no more, Tammy. Because Zeke is there knocking at her door pretty soon.]

[She opens the door, holding her journal open in one hand, and Zeke can just hear Riah's message about trying to keep people indoors. relief has her tension shoulders relaxing for a moment before stepping back to urge him in.]

Have you heard from Ezra?

[Okay okay he's stepping inside gosh.]

Nah, but I'm sure he's soakin' it up in his bathtub.

[Tammy takes a deep breath, trying to relax herself some more. Hearing that Riah is out and about had ratcheted up her nerves, and she still hasn't heard from Rapunzel, or Sandrath.]

Really? Is he lucky enough to get hot water?

No. But I think he's more used to room temperature, bein' a lake creature and all.

He's a lake creature? I didn't know that.

[Tammy closes her journal after firing off a quick reply to Riah and grabs her shoes, shoving her feet into them without undoing the laces.]

Got my hopes up for a second there. I wouldn't mind getting a warm bath without having to leave the barracks for it.

That'd sure be nice, yeah.

[Zeke pauses]

Plannin' on going somewhere?

You said we're going to check on Ezra, right?

[Tammy smooths her hands down her legs, taking a deep breath.]

Figure we can check on him and make sure no one's out in the halls heading for the exits, or anything.

Good, stay there. I'm going to try to stop this.

Oh god, Riah, you've--be careful, please!

Don't worry, I'll be fine. Abeni's with me.

[Not that he actually needs her to stay safe, but he works better with his partner than he does alone.]

[Cause she really can't cope with more people disappearing.]

Kinda just wish they'd all be smart enough to stay indoors. But guess that's too much to hope for.

Do me a favor and try to keep anyone leaving the barracks, but if they leave just stay inside. Don't risk yourself if you don't have to.

Ok, I can try and do that. Zeke's coming by--maybe I can get him to help me.

I can't quite say that's comforting...yet somehow it is.

I will. I'm not going anywhere so don't...just focus on keeping yourselves safe.

We're just going to check on Ezra--Zeke and I--but we're staying in the barracks. We'll see if we can't keep others from leaving but...well, I can't make any promises.

[But she'd try.]

Just do what you can. Stick with Zeke and neither of you let the other out of your sight.

[It's amazing how things can go so wrong in the blink of an eye. A half minute apart is what killed Abeni, after all.]

If you're going together, you're a team. No heroics. Work as one.

[Heroics never quite entered Tammy's mind; not that she's a coward necessarily but keeping herself, and Zeke, safe was priority number one. Priority number two being panic because why hasn't she heard from Rapunzel by now?]

I'll stay close to him. Neither of us has big plans to play hero.

[She almost sounds relieved.]

Like I said, call either of us if trouble happens.

[There's a pause.]

Anyone you want us to look out for? I can send them your way.

I haven't heard from Rapunzel, and I'm a little worried.

[Understatement.]

I hope you don't see her but...if you do, make sure she's okay?

Rapunzel. That's... not someone I know. What's she look like?

[Maybe Zachariah knows her.]

If I find her, I'll make sure she's safe.

She's, ah...she's short, with short brown hair and big, pretty eyes. Always smiling, and her smile is a little crooked. She's...very friendly.

[This is all way more personal than Tammy really intended. Whoops.]
