[She wants to believe that, and they can probably tell that from the look in her eyes. Almost childlike as she leans on Zeke, looking from Sollux to him and back again. They both said it and it needs to be true. Tammy can't live with being this incapable in simply thinking.]

[Tammy accepts the comfort, or rather tries to allow it to comfort her. But it's difficult, when her thoughts barely connect with one another past the pounding realization that she needs the djinn back.]

[She shakes her head, the effort of thinking back, or attempting to, too great for her.]

*Zeke was a much better person to handle food then he was, though, so he'll just be quiet about eating and such.*

[Tammy slump as Zeke gets up, and if she's understood what Zeke's said she doesn't make any indication of it. One hand curls around her journal but doesn't open it, instead looking at Sollux with a look alternating between desperation and blank despair.]

*Sollux really doesn't know what to make of that look. Or of this situation. Tammy is his friend, nothing more, and he's fine with threatoning the lord for her and possibly doing things for her, but he's not so sure about emotional support.
But then he showed up when she was like this, so he really should have expected it. He's not sure what he expected, really...but he's here so he'll try at least.
He stands up slowly and offers her his hand.*

Here. Its better to sit on the bed then on the floor.

[Tammy stares at the hand for a moment before seeming to be able to make the link. Or at least understand. She grasps his hand and gets herself to her feet, shifting over to sit on the edge of her bed.]

*He would have just taken her hand and pulled her up if she waited much longer, but this is probably better. Less likely she'll freak out, anyway.
Sollux nods and sits down beside her.*

I don't really know how to deal with this. But...we'll get you through it. Somehow.

[She shakes her head and rubs at her temples, as if she can drive her thoughts with the force of her hands, but it doesn't do any good. For a moment frustration twists her mouth before she sighs, forcing out each word with slow and halting pain.]

I hate this feeling.
